The faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technology has organized the excursion visit of M.Sc. (Ag) Agronomy students at Agrometeorology Observatory Unit, College of Forestry, SHUATS.

Exposure and enhancement of knowledge of students were focused on crop environment relationships and its equipment - Anemometer, Thermometer, Wind vane, Rain gauge, Evaporimeter, among others. Students were also get acquainted with the prominent role of the Agrometeorology Observatory Unit.
Various uses of equipment in weather information, efficient land use planning, determining suitable crops for a local region, and risk analysis of climatic hazards among others were exposed to students. Here are a few glimpses of the excursion.
