Prof. A.M. Agrawal
Vice-Chancellor

Prof. Anand Mohan Agrawal is an academician, education administrator and a renowned institution builder. An administrator par excellence, his working experience spreads across a span of almost three and half decades wherein he has been at the important positions of reputed institutions and corporate world.

• A PhD from ISM Dhanbad, he completed his graduation as well as MBA from BIT Mesra.
• He started his career from ISM Dhanbad in 1984.
• Then he moved to AICTE as Director in 1995.
• Further, he joined IGNOU as Professor in 1999 and then back to AICTE as Advisor in the year 2000.
• In 2001, he came to his alma mater, namely BIT Mesra, where he went on to become Dean.
• He joined at BIT International Centre, Muscat as Director and Dean in 2005.

The rare blend of technical and managerial education which he gained during his scholarly days came handy for this purpose. He has more than 45 publications in reputed journals and has been awarded Best paper award twice by Indian Institution of Industrial Engineers. He has guided 12 Ph D scholars and has written one book. He has been member of various committees including NAAC and NBA.

Continuing his progression, Prof. Agrawal joined OMZEST, Oman as General Manager (Knowledge Initiatives) wherein he served for two years. He joined GLA University, Mathura as Pro Vice Chancellor and Director in October 2012 and served for Nine years.

It gives me immense pleasure to introduce United University to you. We are a State Private University located in the state of Uttar Pradesh at Prayagraj (Allahabad). Having more than 3 decades of experience of excellence in Higher Education, our University was established in 2021 with the sole aim of providing world class education at affordable price.

We have Faculty of Medicine, Engineering, Management, Law, Agriculture, Nursing, Mass Communication, Applied Sciences & Humanities and Pharmaceutical Science currently. We have established State of Art laboratories and necessary computational facilities. The syllabus of every course has been designed keeping in view the recent developments in respective areas. Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) has been implemented and also Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) system is in place. We are giving focus on holistic development of personality of students and also preparing them for better placements. Highly qualified and experienced faculty members are continuously engaged in delivering lectures supported by audio video resources.

Team work and leadership qualities in every student are must. We give special emphasis on Extra Curricular and Co-curricular activities through Debates, Case studies, Quizzes, role play, dramatics, music etc. Every department has clubs which regularly organise activities that help in shaping personality of students. Guest lecture and industry exposure is part of curriculum. We are also having focus on entrepreneurship and have established a start-up cell.

Our hostels are home away from home. Excellent residential facility and food arrangement make the life of inmate students happy. Recreation, Gymnasium and indoor games facility keep the students stress free.
