United institute of Nursing & Paramedical sciences conducted *“Lamp Lighting & Oath Taking Ceremony “ on 18th March 2023 at 2 Pm in Auditorium of United University, under the able leadership of Hon’b Prof (Dr) A .M Agrawal Vice Chancellor and Dean Dr Chetan Vyas.
The programme began with motivated & inspiration filled welcome song followed by Lamp Lighting .Chief Guest for the day Lt Col Salina M Dutt was welcomed by sapling By Hon’b Vice Chancellor. Principal UIMS Prof (Dr ) Mangal Singh wished the New budding Nurses . Vice President of The United Group of Institution Mr Gaurav Gulati emphasised on the relevance & Importance of Oath Taking .
The core of the function that is passing of Light to the New budding Nurses i.e B.Sc (N) 1st Yr and G.N.M 1st Yr was Passed by Asst Prof. Mr Prasann Roy & Asst Prof. Mrs Khushbu Thakur. The Florence Nightingale Oath was given by the Principal College of Nursing Mr Jesudian K Nath and the New nurses recitated the Oath , to practice their profession faithfully and confidently . Year report was presented by Mr Jesudian K Nath about the Nursing Institute and special thanks was was rendered to parents for keeping faith in the organisation.
The Vote of thanks was given by Asst Prof Mrs Nitisha Julious and Programme was anchored by Asst Prof Mrs Jyoti srivastava . All the Nursing Faculty and students worked hard by coordinating each other in the success of the programme. The Programme concluded with the Cultural Performance from the students.
