PhD is a doctoral degree with an academic focus. A PhD course is usually of three years duration and candidates need to complete the course within a maximum time span of five to six years. However, the course duration may vary from one institute to the other. Aspirants need to possess a master's degree to be eligible to pursue a PhD programme.
Candidates can pursue a PhD programme in any stream. In a PhD course aspirants need to select a topic or a subject and do in-depth research on it and answer any queries related to the topic/ subject.

Full Time PHD Program
Full time Research scholar is those who will be able to commit themselves full time to carry out the research in the campus. Full-time Research Scholars may receive a scholarship or teaching assistance ship from the university. Self financed Indian and foreign candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria may apply for the program
Part Time PHD Program
Part time Research scholar is those who are employed. Such as Corporate Research scholar/Regular Academic Staff of University/Working teachers/Non Academic Staff of University/Sponsored candidates from Public sector unit/Government undertaking. Such candidates has to submit NOC from the employer to relive the candidate to enable him/her to complete the course work. Candidates having five years of teaching/industry Experience will get exemption from the attendance during the course work
NOTE :: Time duration for both part time and full time program is minimum of 3 years
